Friends2Support.com - A site for Indian Blood Donors

Friends2Support.com is an initiative by a group of Indians, to bring together those in need to blood, when the need arises. One wishes, that no one be faced with such dire situations, but, as a fact of life, there are thousands who are faced with situations that require help in those kinds of circumstances. F2S's mission is 'to make the best use of contemporary technologies in delivering a promising web portal to bring together all the blood donors in India; thereby fulfilling every blood request in the country.'

The portal is a place where blood donors can volunteer to register themselves. For others, they can hope to find volunteer donors, if they have to. One can search by a variety of options that include: blood group, state, city and district.

We hope this initiative thrives, and we wish the team the very best in this endeavor.

DevgadMango.com - Bringing the best to you!

It's that time of the year again: the summer's are getting hotter (and unbearable), school's are closed and kids are loving the vacations. And, of course, there's one more thing that's awaited: 'tis the start of the mango season! Yum!

Who can forget the taste of the mango fruit. While there are a number of varieties of mangoes, there's only one that's aptly called the 'King of Mangoes', and that is, the Aphonso. Tasty, delicious, fragrant,... there's a score of adjectives that mango lovers will find to describe this.

Sadly, this year, the mango crop has been affected by bad weather in the beginning of the year, a crucial time for the flowering of the mango trees. So, stocks have been in short supply, but there's some hope that the next lot will be able to quench the mango lovers' appetite, at least to an extent.

Meanwhile, the 'Devgad Taluka Aamba Utpadak Sahakari Sanstha Maryadit' - have launched an initiative DevgadMango.com. This is an initiative by the growers, direct, to bring these quality mangoes to the consumer. It's meant to help the consumer get the authentic devgad hapus. We do hope that the initiative is a success, and hope that we get these delicious mangoes for many more generations to come.

Long live the 'King of mangoes; Hip, hip, Hapus'!
